I just joined Pilates Pro Works and I couldn’t be any more hooked if I tried. I went every day for 7 days and I kid you not, I already see such a transformation with my body. More importantly, my mind is super clear and feels insanely healthy. They also have amazing bootcamp classes, so I’m aiming for Pilates Pro 4-5 times week, and bootcamp 1-2 times a week. They have pretty great deals for first time students, so if you have one near you, definitely try it out! They use the pilates reformer machines which are 10x more effective than floor mat pilates, since the resistance is what really helps tone your body.
Lara Bars. These are my favorite go-to snack as of late, and I’m pretty crazy about the fact that there are max 5 ingredients that we can all pronounce. My favorites are Cashew Cookie, Apple Pie and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Though I’m dying to try the Cherry. I usually have them right after my pilates reformer or Bootcamp class.
Homemade chocolate covered strawberries using peanut butter mixed with 70%+ dark chocolate. Keep a few in your fridge for an after dinner treat, and freeze the rest so you’re not tempted to down all of them at once ;) Also, dark chocolate covered almond bark sprinkled with Himalayan salt. Melt the chocolate, add in the almonds, spread them on parchment paper on a cookie sheet, and put it in the fridge to harden. Yum.
I’m currently more than half way through with my new book that my friend Courtney recommended: Before We Were Strangers. This is honestly the best summer time read. It’s so easy to get into, and the story couldn’t be any more genuine and sweet. The bonus? It gets a little steamy ;) Not 50 Shades of Gray style, but you know what I mean.
After hearing so many people talk about it, I finally started Big Little Lies and I’m intrigued. I can’t give much more insight other than that at the moment, but the acting is phenomenal (Reese, you are so good) and I can’t wait to dive in a bit deeper.
These shorts. Oh my gosh they are so insanely comfortable (literally wearing them right now as I type this!) I wear them with spaghetti strap bodysuits (wearing this one currently) and a cardigan, but would also be super cute paired with a basic white tee. (my favorite brand – so insanely soft) They’re the perfect article of clothing for summer, and mine will definitely be on repeat.
I’ve been listening to this song on repeat after asking my yoga instructor who it was. I was shocked when she said it was Lady Gaga, as it doesn’t really sound like her – but I can’t get enough. It’s my belt-out song for sure.
I’ve recently become obsessed with this lip balm by Kiehl’s. It was in my little Tumi bag from Delta during my last trip abroad, and now I’m hooked. It isn’t sticky (the worst) and completely moisturizes your lips and gives them this super healthy shine. I went through my little tube within 2 weeks, so finally decided to get the larger size. Also, this eye brightening cream which I recently talked about over here. It’s my favorite step of the day, and makes me feel so much more confident when it comes to leaving the house without make up.0
