2018 Holiday Gift Guide • For Her

Good morning loves! Happy Monday. I’m back from Portugal, somehow avoided the jet lag, and am just playing catch up here on the blog after filtering through SO. MANY. PHOTOS. from our trip. It was beyond beautiful, and I can’t wait to dig deeper into all of the details and show some images with you guys in a little – once they’ve been edited and delivered to my client. But in a nutshell: it was such a memorable trip, and I already can’t wait to go back.

While I was over there, I was keeping in touch with many of you by taking polls on Instagram about things you’d like to see as we approach the new year. One of the questions I had revolved around gift guides, and if you actually wanted to see them this year. And you did! :) I love putting them together for all of you, and this question got me thinking…

The longer that I pour love into this blog, the more I really want to ensure that I’m providing a super healthy balance of speaking my truth, doing what feels authentic to me, all while providing content that YOU want to see.  So if you don’t follow me on Instagram yet, pop on over there (where I live mostly on stories) and say hello!  You’ll be starting to see a lot more polls and my asking for your opinion, because I value it so, so much.

With all of that being said, below is this year’s holiday gift guide for all of the women in your life! I chose a wide variety of gifts (you all said you wanted to see style, tech & beauty), within the price ranges of $10-$200 – so I’m hopeful that there’s something for everyone! I’ve got quite a few of these things on my own list as well. (Men’s gift guide is coming tomorrow!)

It includes so many helpful tips for staying on track with budget (including my own personal spreadsheet that I use!), how not to give into the overwhelm, some additional gift ideas, and so much more.

Let’s jump in!

Bluetooth Record Player

There’s something about the way a record sounds that beats out a normal bluetooth player. The light crackling sound is so cozy to me, and I love how vintagy and sleek this one is. The price is right, too.

Treasure & Bond Knit Throw Blanket

Few things better than a soft throw blanket, and I love all of the colors in this one. A perfect gift for your girlfriends or your mother in law.

La Jolie Jasmine Candle

This candle takes it a step further with the gorgeous copper votive. I could totally envision using this as a plant holder once the candle has run it’s course.

Chasing Slow

This is one of my favorite reads when it comes to mindful living, and a book that I re-read each season when I need a little love nudge towards slowing down and taking stock. Erin’s ability to write with such ease puts you in an imitate calm state, and will make you want to take inventory of your junk drawer, and your life.

Silk & Lace Robe

I’ve been eyeing this robe for a while now, and it’s made it’s way to my Christmas list. I love it in the champagne/nude color, but the black is timeless as well. Anyone that’s getting married, the white one would be so pretty for your getting ready photos!

Bamboo Makeup Brush Set

Another thing that’s in my cart is this vegan/cruelty free bamboo makeup brush set. For the variety I can’t believe the price tag.

Matt & Nat Vegan Leather Backpack

My all time favorite backpack (that shows up in all of my capsule wardrobe posts!) makes for the perfect gift for any woman in your life. I get so many compliments on this bag.

Minimalist Wooden Alarm Clock

Alarm clocks just aren’t cute, if you ask me, but I love how sleek and minimal this one is. The numbers light up faintly, so not too bright that it’ll feel distracting when it’s night time.

Black Stone Ring

Another favorite of mine is this simple gold ring with a small black stone. For any of the minimalist women in your life, this is a perfect staple that she’ll never have to take off.

iPhone Ring Holder (2 Pack)

These are all the rage right now, and once you use it you’ll see why! These come in a 2 pack (I love the shape), so you can gift one and keep one for yourself! ;)

True Roots Cookbook

My favorite cookbook right now – I love that each recipe still gives you SO much flavor without all of the dairy and refined sugar that most recipes call for. Plus the photos are beautiful.

Free People Lace Bralette

Truly the only bras that I wear anymore. I have a bigger chest, so barrettes have never really worked for me. But these were designed especially for women who have curves, and I couldn’t be more in love with them. The nude one is on my list, and I have the white, black and burnt sienna color!

Ceramic Thumbprint Mug

My all time favorite coffee mug (which you can see from this post here). They’re each handmade, and you all know how much I love supporting small businesses wherever I can. They have SO many other amazing pieces, too (like this utensil holder, small bud vase and these amazing dog bowls – which I really want to get for Jasper!)

35mm Circle Ray Bans

My friend Lindsay just bought these and they couldn’t be cuter. In my opinion, everyone needs a nice pair of sunglasses, and you just can’t go wrong with Ray Bans.

In the Company of Women

A book I always have visible in my home, as I love flipping through it for some solid motivation from someone of the wisest and most successful women on the planet.

Minimal Laptop Case

For the techy in your life, this seamless laptop case is so pretty, and comes in an array of colors.

Beautycounter Lipstick

So I kept using my friend Jess’ lipstick in the 9-5 shade and I’m hooked. First of all, the color stays on so long, and second, it tastes like mint! And as a lot of you probably know, Beautycounter is known for being non-toxic and super safe (so when you eat your lipstick on accident throughout the day, you don’t have to think twice about it)

Biossance Vitamin C Rose Oil & Rose Quartz Roller

This Vitamin C Rose Oil is a part of my morning routine every single day (it smells SO good and actually plays a major part in the dewy look I go for with my makeup), and I love that they’re now selling it alongside the rose quartz roller. Talk about some self care. :)

Silk Sleep Mask

I almost always wear a sleep mask when I go to bed, and I love that this one is made from silk. It feels SO good on your skin, and also doesn’t leave any creases on your face in the morning.

Trunk Carry-on Suitcase

Such a beautiful carry on suitcase, especially for the price. I’m a fan of hard case bags since they take on so much wear & tear, and I love how vintage yet chic this one looks.

Amber & Smoke Candle

You all know how much I love my candles, and this one is a serious favorite. The scent is so lovely, and you can reuse the candle jar once it’s burned out.

Marc Fisher Booties

Another thing on my Christmas list – these booties (in black). They’re so simple, and I love the height.

Madewell Crossbody Tote

The size of this bag is perfect, in my opinion. It’s not too big and not too small – and as a bonus to the gift, you can take it into any Madewell store and get it monogramed!

La Mer Brightening Mask

Another self care option for the women in your life, this La Mer brightening mask is supposed to be one of the best on the market. I’m also such a fan of their branding, so it’s pretty to look at, too :)

20 Ounce White Yeti Tumbler

I firmly believe that every one should own a Yeti (they’re amazing & worth the hype!) and I love the simplicity of this bright white one.
