Happy May, loves! Everyone always says this, but time is just flying by. Some days feel super slow but then I blink and it’s a brand new month. April for me was all about simplifying and decluttering (I feel like I say this every month.. and truthfully I am always decluttering). But April felt like spring cleaning of my life as a whole. I’m diving wayyy into this on the podcast episode that’s airing tomorrow, so be sure to subscribe here so you can tune in when it goes live :)
Also, I’m starting something new where when you leave a 5 star rating (if that’s what feels good) & review on the podcast and you take a screenshot and email it to me (firstname.lastname@example.org), I’ll send you a FREE instant download print from my Etsy shop. Whichever one you want! It’s just my way of saying thank you for your support and for helping the podcast to grow organically.
Moving on to today’s post — because I’ve become somewhat of a late minute shopper over the past year, I’m really, really grateful for places like Amazon Prime that allow us to shop for thoughtful gifts and not stress about the delivery time. I’ve gone ahead and created a Mother’s Day Gift Guide via Amazon Prime for any of you who might need some last minute ideas! So without further ado, let’s jump in.
2019 Mother’s Day Gift Guide with Amazon Prime
Note: this is not sponsored!
I saw this book at Anthropologie last weekend and fell in love. It’s stunning (I want one for myself!) Not only would it make the best coffee table book, but the vibe of the book alone is perfect for the occasion.
A couple of my girlfriends have this, and it’s such a great idea. It’s a rose that lasts all year (365 days) and requires no water or tending to! They smell heavenly, and they look just as good.
This is one of the best things that I’ve gifted myself when it comes to my hair and my skin. We shed a lot (as women!) when we sleep, and the silk pillowcase is a really great way to prevent no only that, but tangling your hair during your sleeping hours. It also helps to prevent wrinkles and lines that we get over time by smooshing our faces in our pillows. I know first hand as I’m a stomach sleeper. (insert eye roll)
In addition to the silk pillowcase, throwing on this plush robe (yep, even with it getting warmer!) feels like such a luxury. They wash up great, too. I have the white one and I got a small.
Tis the season for rain (at least here in Chicago), and I love this longer version of a rain jacket so much.
I have become SUCH a fan of buying my earrings on Amazon — who knew?! Instead of just linking one pair (because I can’t), I’ve listed my most recent favorites below. * I have them all, and they’re all light weight.
A shameless plug here ;) but if your mama appreciates photography and art, you can choose from an array of prints form my print shop which come to you as an automatic download the moment you purchase! From there, you just head to a FedEx or anywhere that prints — or leave that up to your mom. Below are some of my personal favorites.
*You’ll also get 10% off when you order 2 or more items and use the code MOTHERSDAY2019 at checkout. x
I really need to bite the bullet on this myself, because I for one spend so much of my grocery money on La Croix. Anyone else!? My mom recently purchased this beauty of a carbinator which is GORGEOUS, and looks more like a piece of art than a kitchen utensil. The other bonus is that it syncs up with the Soda Stream co2 canisters. It comes in multiple colors, but she has the white (and it’s so, so pretty).
Speaking of the kitchen.. tea pots tend to get so many oil stains on them and they’re hard to keep clean. Electric kettles are where it’s at, and this one is so sweet and simple. I’ve linked a couple other ones that double as kitchen decor.
Yep, one more plug! :) Today through Mother’s Day I’m offering up mini sessions and full sessions that never expire. This is the perfect gift to go in on with your siblings to surprise your mom with a family shoot, and since they never expire, she can choose when it works best for her! You can also go in on it with your girlfriends and gift it as a baby shower gift (if that applies to you), or nudge your partner that you yourself would like this for yourself ;)0
