January is on its way out and I wanted to be especially good about documenting the months as they unfold, so come 2021 I can take a look back and reflect on everything that was going on. I absolutely love this practice (almost as much as the short list of gratitude posts), and encourage you to give it a try as well :)
I just made these peanut butter oat bars that are SO good and include a lot of healthy subs (like coconut oil, coconut flour, pecans..)
Evolution’s Organic Greens & Ginger juice. They’re a little pricey, but they’re delicious. Pro tip: you can catch them on sale at Jewel all the time (2 for $5 – which is great considering they’re usually $5 a piece).
Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach. It’s such a beautiful read if you’re on the hunt.
To find the perfect 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo surrounded by trees. With a bathtub and a fireplace. Just putting it out into the Universe ;)
I just finished Season 2 of Shrill which I absolutely loved. It’s on Hulu – and if you haven’t watched it yet, I can’t recommend it enough. I’m going to start The Outsiders next week, too.
To Blackmill – this band was introduced to me last week and I can’t stop listening. If you click on the artist radio on Spotify – you’ll get lost in the most beautiful rabbit hole.
For so much peace and comfort for the families who lost loved ones in the Kobe Bryant crash yesterday. I’m so heartsick over it. I posted some thoughts about it yesterday on my IG stories if you care to check it out. It’s under the Grief highlights.
OxyClean stain remover because as lovely and glamorous as drinking coffee in bed while writing sounds.. it’s all over when you spill it on your duvet cover.
This flows over from December’s “enjoying” but I’m still enjoying looking at real estate in Chicago. My plan is to hopefully buy something this summer that I can call my own – but I’m in the very early stages. It’s been extremely fun to look and brainstorm design ideas.
Currently sipping on some Tusli Basil tea with honey. It’s an acquired taste, but I love it.
I’m really loving the art of living in flow. Life is never, ever perfect.. but currently, things are just feeing a bit easier and falling into place organically. I’m following my intuition, saying what’s on my mind, asking for what I want and need, and prioritizing myself and my health now more than ever. Whatever season of life this is — shedding, stepping in, arriving.. I’m here for it.
To get more massages. I definitely don’t do this enough and it’s always such a game changer for my muscles after Orange Theory and all of my photo shoots.
I’ve been living in a cropped Aspen sweatshirt that’s as soft as they come. I also went to a business casual charity event the other night where I wore this dress – it’s amazing. I got so many compliments on it, and I can’t recommend it enough. (I got a size M)
Really, really grateful. For all of it.
